AUDITIONS for the upcoming production Almost, Maine
NORWICH: The renewed Spirit of Broadway Theater is holding open call auditions of Connecticut-based actors for its upcoming production of Almost, Maine by John Cariani on Thursday, May 7th from 6-9 PM, and Saturday, May 9th from 11AM - 5 PM at the theater, located at 24 Chestnut, Street, Norwich, CT.
Actors are asked to bring a prepared monologue of up to 2-minutes in length, and may also be asked to read portions of the script at the time of the audition. Please bring a printed acting resume, and a headshot, if available, to the audition. Actors will be seen on a first-come basis. We are seeking men and women age 15 through adult for this production. Rehearsals will begin in mid-May with the production slated for June 18th -28th. There is no-pay for this project. Actors seeking more information may email katoagogo@aol.com.
The Spirit of Broadway Theater’s 2015 season will be produced under the guidance of a new artistic committee comprised of long-time creative associates of the theater in Norwich and the local region. The upcoming season will include two plays, Almost, Maine and the Pulitzer Prize winning drama Rabbit Hole; and two musicals, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and the musical version of Miracle on 34th Street to ring in the holidays.
