Auditions for AN INSPECTOR CALLS at Town Players

Town Players of Newtown announces auditions for AN INSPECTOR CALLS, the classic drawing room theater production by J.B. Priestly, on July 7, 8 & 9 from 7-9 PM.

One night in 1912, the well-to-do Birling family, who lives in the North Midlands of England, receives a visit from Inspector Goole. The good inspector interrogates all of them about their dealings with a young working-class woman who is now dead and an evening that began as a celebration ends in angry, bitter recriminations.

Gene Golaszewski of Brookfield will direct.

The production calls for four men and four women. Actors should read the play in advance and be ready to read from sides from the script. No appointment is necessary and all roles are open. Auditions will take place at The Little Theatre, 18 Orchard Hill Road, Newtown.

Rehearsals begin the week of July 20 and the production runs Friday and Saturday evenings, September 5 - 27, with two Sunday matinees.
