Firehouse Theatre Auditions for a New Musical (we haven’t announced our season yet and so we’re keeping the title secret) Directed by Adam B. Ferguson Musical Director – Starlet Knight Monday, May 11 at 6-10pm Tuesday, May 12 at 4-6pm Call backs Tuesday, May 12 at 7-10pm Firehouse Theatre 1609 W. Broad St. We’ll be taking audition appointments in 15 minute increments, so please email info@firehousetheatre.org with your name and your preferred day and time slot. We’ll make our best efforts to accommodate requests and will send you an email confirmation of your audition day/time slot. Please prepare a song and a short monologue of your choice. Please bring sheet music, and a headshot and resume. Show tune or pop, up-tempo or ballad, classic or contemporary – whatever you feel most comfortable with and you think shows your best qualities. CHARACTERS: Male, 20’s-30’s. Hyper-intelligent, sensitive, suffers from severe obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Baritenor (Belt to F sharp). Female, 40’s-50’s. The mother. Overweight. An enabler, fiercely protective of her son. Alto (Belt to D). Female, 20’s. Rough around the edges, alternative, funny, disillusioned with the world. Mezzo-Soprano/High belt/Strong mix (Belt to F sharp).
