SUMMER THEATER CAMP: (GSI)

GAMM SUMMER INTENSIVE

GSI is a theater training program for high-school students from Rhode Island and Southern New England, focused on learning, speaking, acting and performing Shakespeare. It is for serious young actors, directors, artists and designers looking to expand their skills in a professional setting. Education Director Steve Kidd and Education and Outreach Coordinator Susie Schutt oversee two full productions with high goals and expectations. The program culminates in six public performances at The Gamm. Campers attend rigorous daily rehearsals and perform in both Shakespeare productions. Additionally, they participate in GSI workshops taught by working professionals in areas including playwriting, improvisational acting, scene study, marketing, and stage combat.

Price: $695 for 4-week camp (Financial aid may be available for qualifying students.)
