Playhouse Black Box Series Presents:

4000 Miles by Amy Herzog

Synopsis:

After suffering a major loss while he was on a cross-country bike trip, 21 year-old Leo seeks solace from his feisty 91 year-old grandmother Vera in her West Village apartment. Over the course of a single month, these unlikely roommates infuriate, bewilder, and ultimately reach each other. 4000 MILES looks at how two outsiders find their way in today's world.

Needed:

Leo: Male, Caucasian, early to mid-20's

Vera: Female, Caucasian, senior citizen (will look at actresses in the 50 to 70 yrs. of age range to fill role)

Bec: female, Caucasian, early to mid-20's

Amanda: Female, Asian American, late teens to early 20's

Requirements:

  • Please prepare a one minute monologue (style not important).
  • Be prepared to read from the script.

Performance Dates: April 24th through April 29th (6 performances total)
