Out of the Boil: A Climate Change Musical makes its world premiere in September 2024 in New Orleans. This comedic production follows anthropomorphized crawfish navigating the challenges of extreme climate change while blending humor with environmental themes. Written by Rel Farrar and directed by Danielle Small, the show features performances from local talent including Jade Thanars, Laura Bernas, and Mike Marina, accompanied by live piano from Neal Todten. The lively presentation incorporates original songs and imaginative sets designed by Alex Powell, inviting audiences to engage with important conversations in a fun and entertaining way.
