Southern Rep Extends OPUS Through 10/18

Southern Rep, the region's premiere professional theatre, extends OPUS by Michael Hollinger for one more week. Performances continue through October 18, Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.. Tickets are on sale now from $21 - $29 and may be purchased at (504) 522-6545 or www.southernrep.com.

OPUS Stars Drew Battles, Bob Edes, Jr, Vatican Lokey, John Neisler, Shauna Rappold with James Faerron Scenic, Diane Bass Lighting, Kelly James-Penot Costumes, Mike Singleton Sound, Sarah Z. Singleton Production Stage Manager, and Liz Maxwell Assistant Director. Violinist turned playwright, Michael Hollinger, creates a witty and telling portrait of a high-caliber yet high-strung string quartet. OPUS explores power and glory, loyalty and madness... and what a girl's gotta do to play with the big boys. Mark Routhier, director of last season's sell-out hit THE SEAFARER, helms this masterful piece.

$10 Student Rush tickets are available 15 minutes before curtain on a cash-only basis, with student ID.
