Socks on the Wall is part of Vivid Stage's annual Meet the Artist new play reading series, held on Wednesdays in May at the Summit Community Center. Written by Brad Goren-Wilson, the play follows a young man attempting to drive across the United States to see his grandmother for Christmas as the pandemic rages around him. A bittersweet comedy, it explores the symbols and pillars people look to for guidance as they navigate the limited time they have. Following the reading, the audience is invited to discuss the work with the playwright, director, and actors.
