Mullen’s embodiment of Freddie Mercury resulted in him gaining 864,838 votes in the show’s live grand final. The number of fans who voted for Mullen was more than double that of the runner-up, thus setting an all-time record for votes in the history of the program.

The fully renovated State Theatre New Jersey presents R.E.S.P.E.C.T., an electrifying tribute celebrating the legendary Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin on Saturday, March 11 at 8pm and Sunday, March 12 at 2pm. Tickets range from $40-$98.

State Theatre New Jersey presents Superheroes & Villains Online Trivia Night on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 7pm. The event will be hosted by radio personality John “JoHo” Hodoryvch, co-host of The Morning Jolt on 105.5 WDHA-FM.

State Theatre New Jersey presents An Evening with George Takei Where No Story Has Gone Before on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 8pm. George Takei shares the story of his life in this special one-night only event. From his family's forced internment as Japanese Americans during WWII to his rise to celebrity as a Sci-fi icon in Star Trek, his remarkable journey as a social media mega power, his passionate fight for LGBTQ rights, and more. Tickets range from $29-$89.
