The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey presents a captivating adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, written by David Catlin, running from October 22 to November 16. Set on a stormy night in 1816, the play intertwines Shelley's life with the fates of Victor Frankenstein and his Creature. Amber Friendly stars as Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin alongside Neil Redfield as Dr. John Polidori, Brooke Turner as Claire Clairmont, and Jay Wade, who skillfully portrays both Lord Byron and Frankenstein's Creature. Directed by Brian B. Crowe, this production explores the complex themes of morality and ambition that define Shelley's iconic narrative.
