The 106th season at CDC Theatre in Cranford will open with the seminal rock musical, Jesus Christ Superstar which will run from October 11 through the 27th. The legendary score, which includes ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him’, ‘Gethsemane’ and ‘Superstar’, began life as a groundbreaking rock double-album, with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber.Jesus Christ Superstar is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of events during the final week in the life of Jesus Christ, as seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot, one of his twelve apostles.
