Co-presented by NJPAC's Jazz Advisory Committee and the Rutgers Institute for Jazz Studies, this free Jazz Jams session features top-flight New Jersey musicians directed by pianist and bandleader James Austin, Jr. The open-format event welcomes both novice and seasoned jazz musicians and singers to jam and improvise with the professional band throughout the evening.
