Nutley Little Theatre presents HARVEY, written by Mary Chase and directed by Mead Winters. Acceptance, understanding, and patience define HARVEY, which follows Elwood P. Dowd, a charismatic gentleman whose best friend is a six-foot-tall rabbit named Harvey. When Elwood's eccentric sister, Veta, and her family are embarrassed by Elwood's "friendship" with Harvey, things take a turn for the worse, and chaos and confusion begin. Through misunderstandings and judging of others, Elwood, Veta, his niece Myrtle Mae, and the doctors overseeing a sanitarium, have to come to terms with Harvey as real or created in the mind of an ill patient.
