Friday, February 26 - Sunday, February 28 Virtual Concert Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) spotlights soloists of South Africas renowned Buskaid Soweto String Ensemble in the second online concert of its on-demand series, Buskaid A Musical Miracle. Buskaid-trained musicians violinists Mzwandile Twala, Kabelo Monnathebe, and Simiso Radebe and vocalist Mathapelo Matabane along with other Ensemble artists perform in a showcase of Soulful and Scintillating Solos ranging from Ernest Blochs Nigun to popular songs and South African kwela music. Guest pianist Melvyn Tan plays Camille Saint-Sans Wedding Cake Caprice-Valse. Rosemary Nalden conducts.
