For people seeking unique gifts, there is an array of theatrically-oriented ideas just right for this holiday season that will not only bring joy but also benefit Playhouse Artists, the new 501(c)3 public charity that supports Bucks County Playhouse and its mission to stimulate, support, inspire and celebrate the performing arts in the New Hope region. Playhouse Artists helps to build audiences, provide education programs that enhance the lives of all-age students, create community programs and special events. These rare gift ideas will support the work of Playhouse Artists while providing creative outlets for gift-giving.

Gifts range from such low prices as $20 for note cards to walk-on roles for $1,000 and $1,500, from weekend getaways for $1,000 and up to $2,000 for seat plaques in the beautifully renovated theater.

Since 2012, the renovation and reopening of Bucks County Playhouse has brought a renewed vitality to the New Hope area. Now run by four Broadway producers - Alexander Fraser, Producing Director; Robyn Goodman, Executive Producer, Stephen Kocis and Josh Fiedler producers who are dedicated to bringing their Broadway experience to Bucks County. And, the results have been outstanding. after only four seasons, The Playhouse summer season broke box office records with attendance up more than 24% from 2015.

The Playhouse's production of Robert Harling's "Steel Magnolias" directed by Marsha Mason and starring Jessica Walter, Susan Sullivan and Patricia Richardson, broke the all-time box office record - becoming the highest grossing play in Bucks County Playhouse history. "Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story" directed by Hunter Foster and choreographed by Lorin Latarro, also broke records as it became The Playhouse's highest grossing musical. Additionally, the summer season shone with critically acclaimed productions of Charles Busch's "The Divine Sister", featuring original New York cast members Charles Busch, Alison Fraser and Julie Halston, and the new musical "Cake off" by Adam Gwon, Sheri Wilner and Julia Jordan starring Justin Guarini, Euan Morton and Michele Ragusa.
