Tickets to Betty Buckley and Gabriel Iglesias at NJPAC on Sale Friday

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) located at 1 Center Street in Newark, New Jersey announces new shows that go on sale Friday, April 8th at 10am. NJPAC is proud to announce America's funniest Comedian GABRIEL "FLUFFY" IGLESISAS #FluffyBreaksEven- see GABRIEL IGLESIAS as you've never seen him before and because he is so popular there will be two performances Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 8pm and Friday, July 8, 2016 8PM.

Also coming to NJPAC, it is BETTY BUCKLEY, best known as the quintessential musical theatre actress. Dubbed "The Voice of Broadway," the multitalented artist is one of a precious few who helped change the face of musical theatre acting with her realistic, naturalistic approach to roles that run the gamut from the wife of an early U.S. President (1776), which marked Buckley's Broadway debut, through a critically acclaimed, Olivier Award-nominated performance as deluded, silent-screen star Norma Desmond (Sunset Boulevard), a part she re-created on Broadway to equal success.

Gabriel Iglesias has been described as a witty, electrifying and talented performer, who has the ability to consistently deliver a uniquely hilarious comedy experience. His high-octane show is a sure-fire hit: a mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring all his personal experiences to life. Gabriel's unique and animated comedy style has made him popular among fans of all ages.

Gabriel's first two DVD specials "Hot & Fluffy" and "I'm Not Fat...I'm Fluffy" have sold well over 1 million copies. In response to the robust demand, Gabriel will record a third one-hour Comedy Central DVD special, "Aloha Fluffy" to air on Comedy Central in Spring 2013.

"Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution," premiered on Comedy Central in October 2011 and was one of the highest rated stand-up series on the network. The series starred Gabriel, who hosted and performed stand-up material and featured an array of talented and diverse comedians, which he personally selected. The highly anticipated second season of "Stand-Up Revolution" was taped in Ft. Lauderdale and premieres on Comedy Central in Fall of 2012. Dubbed "The Voice of Broadway," Tony winner Betty Buckley is equally renowned for her work on stage (Cats), TV (Eight Is Enough), film (Carrie) and concert halls worldwide. This quintessential music theater actress has taken on roles that run the gamut from the wife of a President (1776) to deluded, silent-screen star Norma Desmond (Sunset Boulevard). In addition to her contributions to the stage, Buckley has released an astonishing 16 solo albums and has been twice nominated for a Grammy. She recently gained an entirely new set of fans for her recurring appearances on Pretty Little Liars.
