New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents an evening with broadway luminary Bernadette Peters, a three-time Tony winner and seven-time nominee, performs her timeless, signature songs, from A Little Night Music and Gypsy to Sunday in the Park with George, under the musical direction of Marvin Laird. This superstar has dazzled audiences and critics alike with her performances in concert and on stage, television and recordings. Seen on the new hit series Mozart in the Jungle on Amazon Prime, Peters was recently in A Bed and a Chair: A New York Love Affair (City Center Encores!) and Broadway revivals of Follies and A Little Night Music. Peters' greatest roles were in Dames at Sea, George M!, Song and Dance, Mack and Mabel, Gypsy, and Annie Get Your Gun, among many others. A performer of amazing versatility, she has lit up the silver screen in 17 films, such as Pennies From Heaven, The Jerk, Silent Movie, Annie, and Pink Cadillac. In addition to her acting achievements, she is the author of the bestselling children's book Broadway Barks, named after the animal adoption organization she co-founded with Mary Tyler Moore.
