On Thursday, July 30, TheatreWorks New Milford will present a free staged reading of the hilarious Tony Award-winning comedy, BOEING-BOEING by Marc Comoletti, at 8:00 pm, at the Theatre, 5 Brookside Ave, in New Milford. The reading will be followed by a wine and cheese reception.
BOEING-BOEING centers on Bernard, an American architect living in Paris, who has been successfully juggling three - yes, three - fiancées who are all flight attendants.

Bernard's housekeeper reluctantly plays romantic air-traffic controller as they fly in and out of his swank bachelor pad. But when his old college pal Robert visits, things get rather turbulent. Schedules change, flights are delayed, and chaos ensues in this hysterical, high-flying fiancée fiasco.

This classic farce, originally penned in French, was first performed in France in 1961. It moved to London the following year where it enjoyed a successful run until 1972. It opened on Broadway on February 2, 1965 and closed after just 23 performances. In 2007, the play had a very successful revival in London and then moved to Broadway. It was so well-received, it won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play in 2008.

BOEING-BOEING is under the direction of Joseph Russo of New Milford.

The cast includes: John Ozerhoski (Bristol), Aaron Kaplan (Danbury), Juliette Garrison Koch (Millbrook, NY), KC Ross (Thomaston), and Vicki Sosbe and Beth Harvison (both New Milford).

The event is free, but reservations must be made by calling (860) 350-6863 or by visiting the website at WWW.THEATREWORKS.US.
