Theater To Go Joins Patriots Week 2017 Lineup with 1776 Screening

Theater To Go has joined the lineup of events for Trenton Patriots Week 2017, occurring Dec 26-31, 2017.

We are presenting an interactive screening of the beloved movie 1776 at the NJ State Museum Auditorium in Trenton. Come in costume if you wish! You will be guided by our costumed leaders, Melissa Rittmann and Rob Michael Lasky as you join a play-along screening of this beloved movie, Know the songs? Then sing with the movie! You can sign the Declaration of Independence, enjoy a Tricorn Hat cookie from The Upper Crust Baking Co. and more! And everyone gets a goody bag with props to help you play along!

It all takes place at the NJ State Museum Auditorium, 205 W State St,, Trenton, NJ 08608 on Tuesday, December 26 at 12:00 pm. $5 in advance or $7 at the door. Tickets available online at 1776-patriotsweek.bpt.me or by calling 800-838-3006.

Theater To Go was started in 1992 by Ruth Markoe and has been providing quality entertainment in NJ and regionally since then. It is best known for audience participation murder mysteries and other interactive comedy theater, however has expanded to include full length plays and staged readings. Theater To Go is also well known in the Area for it's Sing Along and Play Along movie screenings of Frozen, Annie, Mamma Mia and others

Theater To Go produced Mark Violi's historical drama Roebling: The Story of the Brooklyn Bridge, which tells the remarkable story of the dedication and adversities of the Roebling family, with roots in NJ, that brought this magnificent national icon to New York. Under the direction of Ruth Markoe, this full length play was recently performed to sold out audiences at Kelsey Theatre in West Windsor NJ. Other recent productions include the Kelsey Award winning production of To Kill A Mockingbird as well as Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, The 39 Steps and Room Service at Kelsey Theatre, and Riding the Comet at the New York Theatre Festival Summerfest.
