'The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse' Comes to MCCC's Kelsey Theatre, 4/27
Theatre IV presents the rock 'n roll version of the classic Aesop fable, "The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse" at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre on Saturday, April 27 at 2 and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
When fast-talking Town Mouse touts the abundant riches of the big city, Country Mouse is tempted to move there. Will the riches of town become irresistible, or will Country Mouse feel the tug of a different kind of riches he left behind? This children's story is a square-dance-meets-sock-hop retelling of the age-old story that teaches children "there's no place like home."
Founded in 1975, Theatre IV is the nation's second largest touring theater for young audiences, known nationally and internationally for excellence in children's theater. The company produces a wide variety of plays and musicals each year throughout 33 states and the District of Columbia.
Tickets are $10 for all ages and may be purchased by calling the Kelsey Box Office at 609-570-3333, or visiting www.kelseytheatre.net. Kelsey Theatre is wheelchair accessible and free parking is available next to the theater.
