The Theater Project will continue its "Opening Nights in the Afternoon" script-in-hand series with MICKEY AND ANTHONY by Marv Siegel at 2 PM on Saturday, October 14, at the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Ave., Cranford, NJ. Free admission.

A white couple refuses to institutionalize their 22-year-old son Mickey who suffers from a severe brain disorder. When it becomes impossible to find care, 22-year-old Anthony Williams, an African-American in the probation system, is assigned to the task as community service. Anthony is not thrilled about the position, but it becomes a life-changing experience for both young men. Please Note: Strong language, adult content.

Marv Siegel's work has been produced in New York City, Florida and around the country. His play THE AUTO-BIOGRAPHY OF GOD as told to Mel Schneider ran to rave reviews in a limited off-Broadway run starring Ron Palillo of Welcome Back Kotter fame ("...one of the brightest dark comedies you'll ever see" - New York Theatre Wire. )GENERATIONS APART was produced numerous times nationwide.
