The Princeton Triangle Club to Stage Encore Performances of TROPIC BLUNDER, 5/27-28
The Princeton Triangle Club is presenting two encore performances of its original musical-comedy extravaganza, Tropic Blunder, at the Tony Award-winning McCarter Theatre Center on Friday, May 27th at 8:00 PM and Saturday, May 28th at 7:00 PM.
Tropipop soda sales have gone flat, and in a last ditch effort to add some fizz, the company holds a raffle for an all-expenses-paid island getaway. Just one problem: the island is cursed! Pirates, mermaids, a love triangle and our famous all-male kickline -Tropic Blunder blows into Princeton bringing music, song and a lot of hilarity. With a cast of 25 students, be prepared for all the music, puns, and general mayhem that makes a Triangle show not-to-be-missed. If you're in town for Reunions and are looking for something that the whole family can enjoy, the Princeton Triangle Club is excited to bring back Tropic Blunder for two nights only.
For 125 years, the Princeton Triangle Club has created an original musical comedy - written and performed by students, directed and choreographed by professionals - as one of the University's most well-known and best-loved traditions. It has the distinction of being the oldest co-ed touring collegiate musical-comedy troupe in the nation that takes its show on a national tour each year. The Club boasts a rich history and long list of distinguished alumni including F. Scott Fitzgerald '17, Jimmy Stewart '32, Brooke Shields '87, Ellie Kemper '02, and Molly Ephraim '08.
Tickets for adults start at $25 and at $10 for students, with discounts for groups of 10 or more. Performances are on Friday, May 27 at 8:00 pm and Saturday, May 28th at 7:00 PM (Performance will end in enough time for audience members to catch the annual Reunions fireworks show).
