This staged concert will uniquely thrill audiences thanks to the creative collection of performers featured including ten professional actors, nine chamber orchestra musicians, and a dozen chorale members. The show is directed by Skyline Theatre Company's Artistic Director Sam Scalamoni with musical direction by Darren Gage. The production also features the Ramapo College Chorale led by Lisa Lutter.
Performances are Friday, May 20 at 7:30pm and Saturday, May 21 at 7:30, with a final matinee performance on Sunday, May 22 at 2:00pm.
Stephen Sondheim's "Sweeney Todd" is a beautifully crafted thriller of a musical that won 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical. It is the story of an unjustly exiled barber in London who seeks vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. Broadway's Joseph Kolinski (Les Miserables original cast, Titanic) stars as Sweeney Todd.
Individual tickets prices range from $22 to $29 and are on sale through Skyline's online box office at SkylineTheatreCompany.org and its in-person box office at 800-474-1299.
