SECRETS;LOVE to Debut in Hoboken Before NYC Performance, 3/22

By:

On MARCH 22, Original drama "Secrets; Love" will premiere in Hoboken, N.J., before its New York City performance in the 10th annual Downtown Urban Theater Festival on March 28.

Summer Dawn Hortillosa's "Secrets; Love" is a tale set in a modern city about crimes of passion and the nature of love – how we feel it, how we express it and how it can be a powerful secret when hidden.

The play opens with a diverse neighborhood dealing with the recent kidnapping of two members of their Filipino community – Rizalia Salem (Siouxsie Suarez), the wife of Marcus Salem (Stan Vidal), and Marcus’s best friend Marton (Clarence Ilanan).

When their next-door neighbor Diego Carbonell (Jean-Pierre Mestanza) hears mysterious, terrifying sounds coming from their house, he realizes the truth may be darker than anyone suspects. Together with the Salems’ daughter Luz (Liliane Wolf), he puts the pieces together and discovers the lengths some would go to for love.
