The Road Company Theater's popular, sold-out 2013 summer camp at the Grand Theatre will culminate in fully staged productions of Disney's Aladdin, Jr. and Legally Blonde: The Musical in August. "While there are other summer camps for parents to choose from for their children, many favor ours because of its affordability and the intensive six-week program dedicated to training in auditioning, stage presence, voice, dance, and the technical aspects of live theater, in addition to rehearsing and performing shows," stated Lauri Hudson, Road Company president. Jennifer Gerhart, mother of Stevie Rose and Sofia, said: "I couldn't imagine either of my girls at any other camp or with any other instructors. I doubt it would be the same experience." Disney's Aladdin, Jr. will be performed by those ages 8 through 11 on Thursday, August 1, Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3 at 7:30 pm. Legally Blonde: The Musical will be performed by those ages 12 through 18 on Thursday, August 8, Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10 at 7:30 pm in the Grand Theatre, 405 S. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ. Tickets, $10 - $18, are available at www.roadcompany.com or 856-728-2120

The Road Company's summer theater camp has enhanced the lives of hundreds of young people over the years and consistently sells out months in advance. This year, 81 campers are being directed by Amy Sprouse and Jodi Raditz in preparing for the shows. "Although everyone works really hard to put on a first class production, they manage to bring on the fun as well. We are truly blessed to be part of The Road Company family!" reports Maria Abbruzzi. Her son, Luke, added, "It's awesome! Being back in the Grand Theatre brings back a lot of memories. The new theater is amazing." Long-time patrons Sue and Tom Bonerbo said: "If you would have told us that answering an ad for a theater camp in Williamstown 5 years ago would have led to our son finding his passion in life we would have said you were crazy. The friendships we have made and the professionalism of all involved makes this experience much more than just a summer camp,"

Disney's Aladdin, Jr.

Welcome to Agrabah, City of Enchantment, where every beggar has a story and every camel has a tail. All of the favorite characters are here in Disney's Aladdin, Jr.., a stage adaptation of the Disney film. Filled with magic, mayhem, and flying carpet rides, audiences' spirits will soar with excitement. Most of all, the tuneful, Academy award-winning score with songs including "A Whole New World" and "Friend Like Me" will certainly make this musical a favorite for many years to come!

Legally Blonde: The Musical

Harvard's beloved blonde takes the stage by pink storm in this fun, upbeat musical about self-discovery.
