Rhino Theatre to Stage URINETOWN
Winner of three Tony Awards, including Best Book, Urinetown, which will be presented at Rhino Studio 237, is a tale of greed, corruption, love, and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold.
In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage caused by a 20-year drought has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!
Show dates are July 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st. Thurs and Fri at 8pm Sat at 2 and 8pm and Sunday at 2 and 7pm. Ticket price is $23 plus tax and tickets can be purchased by visiting rhinotheatre.com. Group rates are available. Rhino Studio is located at 237 Hamburg Turnpike in Pompton Lakes.
