The Forum Theatre has been the Cultural Arts Center of Metuchen since 1928, when it was built and utilized as a Vaudeville tryout house. At the height of its success, The Forum was a thriving regional theatre presenting a vast array of A-1 entertainment. After a two-year hiatus, this historic landmark is undergoing a grass-roots revival returning top-notch live theatre, musicals, concerts, films and more to its Central New Jersey base. The theatre also serves as a community center for special events, presentations and meetings, and is offering a mix of quality acting classes and music lessons to both children and adults. The theatre is conveniently located two blocks from the train station and easily accessible via mass transit.
