RIVERDANCE 30 – THE NEW GENERATION Will Come to NJPAC
The celebrated Irish dance show comes to Prudential Hall's Betty Wold Johnson Stage in Newark.
New Jersey Performing Arts Center will host four special performances of Riverdance 30 – The New Generation on Friday, Feb. 12 (7:30 p.m.), Saturday, Feb.13 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb14 at 1:00 p.m., This milestone production marks three decades of the iconic show that has captivated audiences around the world with its electrifying Irish dance, vibrant music, and cultural celebration.
Since its debut, Riverdance has become a global sensation, enchanting more than 28 million people across six continents. The show is renowned for its powerful blend of traditional Irish step dancing, innovative choreography, and stirring musical scores. Now, as Riverdance celebrates its 30th anniversary, NJPAC is proud to be part of this extraordinary journey by welcoming a new generation of performers to the stage.
The 30th anniversary edition introduces an exciting new cast of dancers and musicians, bringing fresh energy and creative interpretations to the beloved classic. Audiences can expect breathtaking choreography, state-of-the-art lighting, and immersive stage designs that honor the legacy of Riverdance while introducing bold, contemporary elements. This anniversary production promises to both honor the tradition and push the boundaries of live performance.

Riverdance 30 – The New Generation is directed by John McColgan, with music composed by the renowned Bill Whelan. The production is produced by Moya Doherty. Together, this acclaimed creative team has crafted a performance that balances tradition with innovation, ensuring that Riverdance continues to inspire audiences for generations to come.
