Photo Flash: Collaborative Stage Productions' PIPPIN at NJ's Eagle Theatre thru 5/5
Collaborative Stage Productions, the same company that recently thrilled regional audiences with their production of RENT, opened their run of the musical PIPPIN on April 20. Two more weekends remain of the production, showing at the Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Hammonton, NJ. See photos from PIPPIN below!
Pippin, winner of four Tony Awards, is the dazzling, often hilarious musical journey of a young man and his quest to find personal significance as he tries his hand at war, politics, sex and The Common life. Pippin features an unforgettable pop score by Steven Schwartz, creator of Broadway musicals hits, Wicked and Godspell.
Liz Filios, a Barrymore Award Nominated star of stage and television who has performed at The Arden Theatre, The Wilma Theatre, The Walnut Street Theatre and Act II Playhouse, plays the role of Leading Player. She is also a composer, teaching artist, and a writer and host for PBSKids Sprout.
Pippin's Director and Choreographer, Dann Dunn, internationally celebrated artist is currently choreographing Spring Awakening at the Media Theatre. Dunn has toured nationally as the Associate Director/Choreographer of The Music Man, as performer in Cats, The Music Man, Damn Yankees, and Once Upon a Mattress.
Collaborative Stage Productions re-imagined production of this unstoppable musical adventure is guaranteed to be magical and spellbinding.
Pippin will run on the following dates: April 26, 27, 28, May 3, 4 and 5 at 8:00 PM, and April 29 at 3:00PM at the Eagle Theatre.
