Passage Theatre Company, Trenton's premiere professional theater company, will present a nw play workshop staged-reading of Blood: A Comedy by David White for three performances on February 19, 20 and 21 at 8:00 p.m. at Trenton's historic Mill Hill Playhouse (Front and Montgomery Streets). Tickets are $12.

Jacqueline Stanzi is an eccentric life-long atheist and college professor who has just lost her tenure for trying to teach intelligent design in a science class. Struggling with confusion and memory loss, Jacqueline decides that the only way to save her high dysfunctional family from destroying itself is for them all to get religion. She invites them all to dinner party only to discover that while confession may be good for the soul, it may not be all that great for the Stanzi family. This bittersweet farce from the author of last season's Random Horrible Thoughts about Love is about love, faith, science, family and hot pepper cheese cubes. Please note: this piece contains adult language and mature themes.

In addition to last year's Random Horrible Thoughts About Love, his play White Baby was featured as part of The Suitcase Stories Playwrights Lab production, and his play Backfire was included in last year's Play Lab production, The Gallery Plays. Recently, his plays White Baby and Fast Food were produced by the Combustible Radio Theatre in Philadelphia. Fast Food was also staged last October at the ArtSpace in Chang Mei, Thailand. If I Could..., was given a third production by the South Carolina Children's Theatre and another production is currently being planned in Newark as a partnership between Passage Theatre and Playwright's Theatre of New Jersey.

Adam Immerwahr is a director and theater producer, currently residing in Princeton as the Producing Associate at McCarter Theatre.
