PSO Guest Composer Teddy Abrams Talks Beethoven

On Wednesday, March 14 at 7 pm, in partnership with the Princeton Public Library, Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) presents a talk given by guest conductor Teddy Abrams on the greatness of Beethoven and how he in the role of conductor prepares his interpretations of the iconic composer's works. The talk is a prelude to Mr. Abrams' Princeton Symphony Orchestra debut at the March 18 Beethoven "Pastoral" concert at Richardson Auditorium.

Teddy Abrams is the widely-acclaimed music director of the Louisville Orchestra and music director and conductor of the Britt Orchestra, as well as an established pianist, clarinetist, and composer. His 2017-18 season includes debuts with the Los Angeles, Malaysian, and Rhode Island Philharmonics; the Milwaukee, Fort Worth, Princeton, and Omaha Symphonies; and The St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.

Following the talk, Mr. Abrams will sign copies of the CD All In which features some of his own works performed by the Louisville Orchestra under his direction. All In will be available for purchase for $20.

The talk, which includes an audience Q&A, takes place in the Princeton Public Library's Community Room. Refreshments will be served.
