Old Library Theatre to Stage GYPSY, Begin. 3/7

Fair Lawn Recreation Department's resident theatre company, OLD LIBRARY THEATRE, announces performance dates for Gypsy. The production is directed by Scott Hart with Musical Direction by Anthony Bevilacqua, and Choreography by Amy Shera. Produced by Julie Galorenzo, Assistant Choreography / Producing by Tomas Ruiz, Stage Management by David Mannarino and Assistant Stage Management by Regina Novicky. Starring Fran Leonardis, Erik O'Connell and Maggie Biedenkapp. Featuring Alex Hartman, Maya Karp, Sarah Lepre, Andy Calderone, Sivan Kaynar Kissinger, Evie Turner-Salerno, Tara Kulbatski, Adelaide Prekopa, Zachary Petzinger, Jack McAvoy, Sonny Leonardis, Eric Parkin, Tom Winkler, Kate Revell, Lou Ann Salkin, Luisa Fuentes, Vinnie Plantamura, Clyde Johnson, Anthony Tessitore, Eliza Prekopa, Adriana Gambo, Ilan Fitterman, Ellen Collins and Allison Beckley.

Considered one of the greatest musicals of all time, Gypsy is loosely based on the 1957 memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee, the famous striptease artist, and focuses on her mother Rose, "the ultimate show business mother." With music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and a book by Arthur Laurents.

Performance dates are March 7, 8, 13 & 14 at 8:00pm & March 9 & 15 at 2:00pm. Performances occur at the George Frey Center for Performing Arts, located at 10-10 20th Street (corner of Kipp Street) in Fair Lawn, NJ. Reservations can be made by calling the theater box office at 201-797-3553. Tickets are available for online purchase at www.oldlibrarytheatre.net.

Old Library Theatre was started in 1967 by a handful of dreamers who wanted to make the joy of theatre performance available to everyone. It is a community theatre organization committed to producing quality productions at an affordable price.
