New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents Jersey New Moves! The fourth annual edition of this Garden State showcase features the work of five of New Jersey's best up-and-coming choreographers.

After an open submission process, chosen artists are mentored year-round by some of the modern dance world's leading choreographers. These world premiere performances will be shared for the first time with NJPAC audiences.

The current 2017-18 choreographers and mentors are:

Joe Monteleone, Hazlet
Mentor: Nai-Ni Chen of Nai-Ni Chen Dance

Barkha Patel, Tenafly
Mentor: Randy James of 10 Hairy Legs

Daniel Padierna, Wallington
Mentor: Randy James of 10 Hairy Legs

Nijawwon Matthews, Newark
Mentor: Nai-Ni Chen of Nai-Ni Chen Dance

Stephanie Nerbak, Parsippany
Mentor: Carolyn Dorfman of Carolyn Dorfman Dance
