Tuesday, March 24, 2015 - New Jersey Repertory Company, located at 179 Broadway in Long Branch, is proud to announce the World Premiere of The Realization of Emily Linder by Richard Strand, author of the Civil War drama Butler.

Everything may not always be as it appears in this comedic-drama about Emily, an eccentric, retired university professor, who has come to the "realization" that she knows the exact day that she will pass away. She gathers her two daughters to her side to inform them of her imminent demise and to give each explicit instructions and assignments to fulfill prior to her earthly departure. Emily, for the most part, is behind the wheel steering her own poignant journey in her life's final mission, but an unexpected someone from her past emerges to divert her off course and places her in uncharted territory on the road to possible new discoveries.

The cast includes Marnie Andrews, Dana Benningfield, Corey Tazmania and Jenny Vallancourt and is directed by SuzAnne Barabas. Sneak preview performances to this limited engagement begin Thursday, April 23 with opening night Saturday, April 25 at New Jersey Repertory Company (179 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ), and will run through Sunday, May 24, 2015. Tickets may be purchased by calling 732-229-3166 or online at www.njrep.org.

The production team includes: Jessica Parks (Set Design & Props), Brian Snyder (Technical Director,) Jill Nagle (Lighting Design), Merek Royce Press (Sound Design), Patricia Doherty (Costume Design), and Jennifer Tardibuono (Stage Manager).
