NJ Rep to Premiere Dan Lauria's DINNER WITH THE BOYS, 9/11-10/5
New Jersey Repertory Company, located at 179 Broadway in Long Branch, will present the World Premiere of Dinner With The Boys by Dan Lauria.
Dan Lauria, star of TV's The Wonder Years and Sullivan & Son as well as Broadway's Lombardi and the hit musical A Christmas Story, pens a killer comedy about a couple of old-time wise guys who just want to have a good Italian meal, a few laughs, and tie-up some loose ends before dessert.
The cast includes Dan Lauria, Ray Abruzzo, who played Little Carmine Lupertazzi for four seasons on HBO's The Sopranos, and Richard Zavaglia, veteran of stage and screen, who has appeared in such films as Donnie Brasco with Al Pacino and Johnny Depp.
Dinner With The Boys, directed by Frank Megna, begins preview performances on Thursday, September 11 and celebrates its opening night on Saturday, September 13 at New Jersey Repertory Company (179 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ), and runs through Sunday, October 5. Tickets may be purchased by calling 732-229-3166 or online at www.njrep.org.
The production team includes: Jessica Parks (Set Design & Props), Jill Nagle (Lighting Design), Merek Royce Press (Sound Design), Patricia E. Doherty (Costume Design), Michael Carroll (Technical Director), and Jennifer Tardibuono (Stage Manager).
