TWO JEWS WALK INTO A WAR... Please join us for the opening night of Seth Rozin's Two Jews Walk Into A War at the New Jersey Repertory Company, Saturday December 12 at 8:00 p.m.

A NJ premiere by Seth Rozin, a co-production with PTNJ. Hysterically funny and amazingly poignant. In a dilapidated old synagogue in Kabul during the final days of the Taliban regime, the one thing that binds the Jewish community together is - they both hate each other's guts. Ishaq and Zeblyan are the last two surviving Jews in all of Afghanistan. They spend their days hurling insults at each other and holding separate religious ceremonies, all the while struggling to recreate the sacred Torah that was destroyed by the Taliban. Inspired by a true story, could it be that the salvation of Afghanistan's Jewish community is left in the hands of a real life middle-eastern odd couple?
