Miss America to Do BATTLE ON THE RUNWAY with PROJECT RUNWAY's Jay McCarroll at Hamilton Mall, 8/13

Internationally known fashion and textile designer Jay McCarroll, the original winner of the groundbreaking, Emmy-nominated reality show Project Runway, is bringing the South Jersey Shore's ultimate Runway event to a whole new level this summer when he returns to square off against none other than MISS AMERICA 2015, Kira Kazantsev as his co-host of BATTLE ON THE RUNWAY, a spectacular three-hour "Back to School" fashion event on Thursday, Aug. 13 at Hamilton Mall, the area's "super regional" shopping mall.

McCarroll, Fashion Ambassador for Hamilton Mall, will co-host the event with Miss America from 3-7 p.m. The show will feature the hottest "Back to School" looks from your favorite Hamilton Mall stores: Sears, JC Penney, Macy's, Aeropostale, Buckle, Forever 21, Francesca's, Garage, Gymboree, PacSun, Zumiez and more, with accessories, Charlotte Russe, Norman's Hallmark-Vera Bradley accessories., and others.

This will also be the return of the highly anticipated SOJO 104.9 Recycled Fashion Challenge, in which contestants on teams led by Miss America and Jay McCarroll, will be designing and constructing wearable items during the event from random and unconventional materials.
