"My Big Gay Italian Funeral" which originally opened its doors in 2013 at the St. Luke's Theater Off-Broadway, will celebrate its fourth year with a one night only performance in the Superstar Theater at Resorts Casino on July 28th at 9pm.

The sequel to "My Big Gay Italian Wedding" created by Three-time Emmy Award Winner Anthony J. Wilkinson was the second of what is now known as the "Big Gay Italian Trilogy." Like the wedding, the Funeral has also been published and licensed thru Samuel French and has played in multiple cities across the globe.

The show is set at the funeral of Anthony's father, Joe Pinnunziato. Anthony is reuninted with his gay brother Peter Pinnunziato, who he hasn't spoken to in over a decade. Family drama and crazy characters unite when everything that can happen at an Italian wake certainly will. After Anthony's father passes away, old family members are reunited after not having been on the best of terms for over a decade.

This is a hilarious take on all of the fun characters that show up at a funeral home.

"My Big Gay Italian Wedding" recently had its debut in Atlantic City on June 30th at Resorts with a packed house of over 800 people in attendance. The show received rave reviews and the Funeral is already generating a huge follow up for its Boardwalk premiere. Wilkinson the creator and star of the trilogy in New York City, will be taking on his own role in Atlantic City as well. "It is a thrill to be able to bring my shows down to Atlantic City this summer, people love an excuse to go to the beach and the casino so it's doing well," said Wilkinson.

"My Big Gay Italian Funeral" will be produced by Bianco Productions and directed by original directors from Off-Broadway Teresa Anne Cicala and Sonia Blangiardo. The cast includes Anthony J. Wilkinson (Anthony), Nick Palazzo (Peter), Robin Siegel Lakin (Ondine), Rocco Aldo Palmieri (Dominick), Gina Scarda (Angela), Debra Toscano (Toniann), Kim Pirrella (Lucia), Brett Douglas (Maurizio), Elena Barone (Maria), Mark Corallo (Howie), Vito Cimilluca (Ezio), Mia Y. Anderson (Vidalia/Wanda), Geri Hubner (Aunt Donna) and Marta Lefsky (Fanny). The show is General Managed by 22Q Entertainment.

Resorts Casino is located at 1133 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, New Jersey. Tickets range from $59-$99.00 each and be purchased on Ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-653-8000.
