Kwanzaa Artisan Merketplace and Free Kids Activities This Month at NJPAC New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents Celebrate Kwanzaa at NJPAC's 19th Annual Kwanzaa Artisan Marketplace Friday, December 15th - Saturday, December 16th at NJPAC 1 Center Street in Newark, NJ. Experience NJPAC's Prudential Hall lobby transformed into a Kwanzaa Artisan Marketplace where vendors display creative, unique and many one of kind hand-crafted items satisfying all gift giving needs.

NJPAC's annual FREE Kwanzaa Family Festival is where kids of all ages will be engaged with hands-on activities dedicated to the Kwanzaa principles of Umoja (Unity), Kujichagulia (Self-Determination), Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility), Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics), Nia (Purpose), Kuumba (Creativity) and Imani (Faith). This Family event will take place in NJPAC's Lobby on Saturday, December 16th from 11am - 3pm.

Celebrate Kwanzaa festivities with Forces of Nature Dance Theatre, featuring special guest poets Ntozake Shange, Sonia Sanchez featuring Dyane Harvey-Salaam on Saturday December 16th at 2pm and 7:30 PM.

Don't miss, Forces of Nature Dance Theatre with special guests Ntozake Shange and Sonia Sanchez featuring Dyane Harvey-Salaam. Visually inventive and creatively brilliant, these multi-ethnic dancers and drummers perform a one-of-a-kind program that is "sizzling ... nothing short of sensational," (The Washington Post).
Two performances will take place Saturday, December 16 at 2pm and 7:30pm at Victoria Theater $29 - $45.
