JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT Opens Friday At Music Mountain Theatre

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, opening Friday at Music Mountain Theatre, is chock full of MMT Company favorites and some of the cutest and most talented youth in Hunterdon and Bucks Counties.

Help MMT celebrate this musical's 50th Anniversary! The biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes alive in the musical retelling. Joseph, the favorite son of Jacob, is blessed with vivid dreams that foretell the future. Sold into slavery by his jealous brothers, Joseph endures a series of adventures which challenge him to his core. A truly timeless Old Testament tale, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is set to a multitude of musical genres by Andrew Lloyd Webber, spanning from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock and roll.

Reprising their starring roles as the Narrator and Joseph from the 2016 Production at the Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre are Jill Palena and Patrick Mertz. Palena is a Resident Company Member seen this season in Steel Magnolias, A Christmas Carol, A Christmas Story, Curtains, and Jesus Christ Superstar. Mertz was last seen starring in The Producers.
