ILIZA SHLESINGER LIVE: COMEDY TOUR to Hit NJPAC's Prudential Hall
The comedian's latest Amazon Prime special, A DIFFERENT ANIMAL, follows six Netflix specials.
Iliza Shlesinger will bring her acclaimed comedy tour to Prudential Hall at NJPAC on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 8PM. With seven stand-up specials — including her latest Amazon Prime hit, A Different Animal, and six Netflix specials — Iliza has established herself as one of the most prolific and fearless comedians working today.
Known for her razor-sharp observations and flawless delivery, Iliza tackles everything from relationships and modern dating disasters to the absurdities of everyday life. Her comedy is smart, subversive, and hilariously relatable, with no subject off-limits. Audiences can expect a night filled with Iliza's signature confidence, infectious energy, and boundary-pushing humor that makes every show a unique experience.
Iliza's talents extend far beyond the stage. She's a bestselling author with two books, a celebrated actress, and host of the wildly popular podcast Ask Iliza Anything. Her comedy journey began with her big break winning NBC's Last Comic Standing in 2008, and since then she's produced five Netflix specials and sold out venues worldwide.
Iliza has written and starred in several films and TV shows, including Netflix's Spenser Confidential alongside Mark Wahlberg and her “mostly true” film Good on Paper. Her fifth Netflix special, UnVeiled, premiered in November 2019 and delved into her marriage journey, while past specials like Confirmed Kills, Freezing Hot, and War Paint continue to resonate with fans. The 2018 special Elder Millennial is featured in Iliza Shlesinger: Over & Over, a behind-the-scenes “fan-u-mentary” currently streaming.
In 2020, Iliza starred in two major films: Spenser Confidential opposite Mark Wahlberg and Pieces of a Woman opposite Vanessa Kirby. The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show premiered on Netflix in early 2020, showcasing her versatility and comedic range. Her first book, Girl Logic: The Genius and the Absurdity (Hachette Book Group), is a subversively funny collection of essays on friendship, singlehood, and relationships. Her new podcast, AIA: Ask Iliza Anything, offers listeners a unique perspective, answering questions on virtually any topic.
Iliza's devoted fans show their loyalty by creating their own Iliza-inspired swag to wear to her shows, making every tour stop a vibrant, interactive experience. Her bold, unfiltered take on life resonates with audiences around the world, and now Newark fans have their chance to experience her comedy live.
