Gina Gionfriddo’s US DRAG Plays Now thru 6/9, Rahway

Alliance Repertory Theatre Co. Presents - Gina Gionfriddo's US DRAG tonight May 18, and May 19, June 1, 2, 8, 9, at 8PM June 3, 6 PM at the Union County Performing Arts Center, 1601 Irving Ave, Rahway NJ.

This hilarious and witty jet-black comedy follows Angela and Allison, two young women in Manhattan seeking love & happiness, but they'll settle for rent money. They decide that chasing down reward money for a serial killer prowling the streets of NYC is the best way to avoid gainful employment. In U.S. Drag, playwright Gionfriddo exposes the culture of victimization and the media celebrity that surrounds it.

Artistic Director Mike Driscoll of Edison directs a cast including Kelly Maizenaski and Rachel Brown of Middlesex, Dave Gazzo of Jersey City, Dennis DaPrile of Woodbridge, Rudy Palm of S. Amboy, Victor Martinez of Rahway, Marni Suscreba of Clifton, Eve Cannon of Bloomfield. Lighting Design by Kevin Gunther of Helmetta and Stage Managed by Candida Montalvo of Edison.
