British comedian Eddie Izzard is launching the Believe Me Tour, based on his NY Times-best seller of the same name. This funny and emotional show reveals the man behind the stand-up. The book reflects on a childhood marked by the loss of his mother, boarding school, and alternative sexuality, as well as a life in comedy, film, politics, running, and philanthropy. Over the course of a thirty-year career, Eddie Izzard has proved himself to be a creative chameleon, inhabiting the stage and film and television screen with an unbelievable fervor.
An Acoustic Evening with Lyle Lovett and Shawn Colvin
Two country greats, Lyle Lovett and Shawn Colvin, come together for a special acoustic performance. Lovett has released 13 albums and won four Grammy Awards. Colvin has released 10 studio albums, as well as two live recordings. She won three Grammy Awards of her own.
