Red Bank Flavour, a culinary campaign driven by the borough's top chefs, restaurateurs and proprietors, today announced its partnership with Two River Theater to present Broadway in Red Bank on Monday, April 16. The event will take place at the Two River Theater and include a palatable selection of cuisine from Red Bank's hottest restaurants and a must-see cabaret performance featuring Broadway's rising stars.

Tickets ranging in price from $75-$200 are on sale now from www.trtc.org.

Starting at 6 p.m., foodies and theater fans will enjoy a 90-minute culinary extravaganza presented by more than a dozen select Red Bank restaurants. Following the flavourful food tasting, audience members will enjoy a special musical cabaret in Rechnitz Theater featuring performances from Katie Boren (Lysistrata Jones), Miguel Cervantes (American Idiot), Jeff Kready (currently in Two River's new musical In This House, Billy Elliott), and Kenita R. Miller (Two River's Honk!, The Color Purple).

"Broadway in Red Bank marks an important collaboration between Red Bank Flavour and the town's theaters, merging the arts and culinary communities to raise awareness of Red Bank as a thriving entertainment and cultural destination," commented Chris Paseka, owner of Red Bank's Sugarush a Sweet Experience. "We are very excited to be working with Two River Theater to produce this event and hope it is the first of many partnerships."

There are four ticket options, $75, $100, $150 and $200, for Broadway in Red Bank. The $75 and $100 tickets include a pre-show reception in the Two River Theater lobby, a food tasting from some of Red Bank's finest restaurants, and tickets to the cabaret. The $150 and $200 tickets include an exclusive pre-show reception in Two River's Marion Huber Theater from 6 to 7:30 p.m.; vodka, champagne and wine tastings; passed hors d'oeuvres from Red Bank restaurants; premier seating in the Rechnitz Theater; and a meet and greet with the artists.

"Two River Theater is very pleased to collaborate with the many wonderful restaurants that are part of Red Bank Flavour on Broadway in Red Bank," said Artistic Director John Dias. "We are especially happy to be partnering on an event that brings great young Broadway performers to this community. We know that artists love coming to Red Bank, partly because of the town's vibrancy, and we're glad to join with Red Bank's culinary community to help promote that."

Red Bank Flavours participating in Broadway in Red Bank include, but are not limited to: Dish, Cheese Cave, Danny's Grill and Wine Bar, Front Street Trattoria, Gaetano's, Readies Café, Siam Garden, Sugarush a Sweet Experience, Taste, Teak, The Bistro at Red Bank, The Boondocks Fishery, The Melting Pot and Via45. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Red Bank Flavour, Two River Theater's Fund for New Work, and Count Basie Theatre.
