Eric Hafen, Artistic Director of the Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum, 6 Normandy Heights Road in Morristown, NJ, is proud to unveil the Bickford's 2009-2010 Season of "Love & Marriage," featuring four exciting theatrical works guaranteed to entertain and enthrall.

"This season we're focusing on ‘Love and Marriage,' that sometimes maligned coupling which often brings tears of laughter and joy to our eyes," said Eric Hafen. "Starting with the contemporary dating games of the hit Off Broadway musical, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, we proceed to the altar, or almost to the altar, with the madcap sex farce, Perfect Wedding. We then experience the traditional matchmaking side of the engagement dance while Crossing Delancey, then move on to the troubled, sinister side of love & marriage in the suspense-filled Dangerous Obsession. We invite everyone to join the Bickford family this season and look forward to seeing your name on our Guest List!"

The Bickford's 14th Season opens with one of Off Broadway's longest-running smash hits, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, running September 24 to October 18, 2009. Direct from a record-breaking New York run, I Love You...Now Change is a wonderfully hilarious musical celebration of the modern-day mating game. Everything you ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws (but were afraid to admit!) is finally exposed in this musical joyride that has won rave reviews and thrilled audiences in 400 cities worldwide.

Say "I Do" to a Perfect Wedding, running November 12 to December 6, 2009, a riotous sex farce that will have you rolling in the aisles! Bells are ringing--but not for long --when the groom wakes up with an extremely attractive naked stranger in his bridal suite bed, the best man can't find his girlfriend, and the bride just wants to take a bath! Don't miss this crazy comedy hit that has provoked waves of laughter on two continents!

Get ready to fall in love with Crossing Delancey, running January 21 to February 14, 2010, a feel-good romantic charmer about new world desires clashing with old world traditions. Crossing Delancey tells the timeless tale of Isabelle Grossman, an independent, self-reliant, Manhattan bookseller who hopes to find true love and happiness...her way! When her lovingly meddlesome grandmother and a matchmaker try to arrange a date for her with the local pickleman, cultural and generational clashes erupt--and laughter ensues!

The Season comes to nerve-jangling end with Dangerous Obsession, running April 29 to May 23, 2010. This riveting thriller, filled with breath-catching moments and nail-biting suspense, leaves a mangled trail of revelations in its wake before the final climax. A mysterious stranger arrives at the home of Sally and Mark Driscoll and suddenly they find themselves at the mercy of a ‘dangerously obsessed' man who threatens to reveal secrets that could change their lives forever. Dangerous Obsession will be co-produced with the Old Castle Theatre Company in Bennington, Vermont.

In addition, the Bickford Theatre will once again be offering its famed "A La Carte Series" of special concerts and variety performances, back by popular demand. This Season's line-up opens March 7 with the spellbinding Magic of Lyn-Master Illusionist, followed March 14 by Saturday's Highlife: The Music of Jerry Herman starring cabaret favorite Susan Speidel with Music Director Peter Candela (Broadway's The Lion King), and ends March 21 with Las Vegas Headliner, Tony Pace, a singer-impressionist-comedian who was voted "The Best Entertainment Value" in town at Resorts. All shows begin at 2 p.m.

Main Stage Series performances are Thursdays thru Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m., with select Thursday Matinees at 2 p.m. Subscriptions are now on sale. Individual tickets go on sale August 31, 2009. To purchase a subscription or for further information, please contact the
