On December 8, Robert A. Marino, Chairman of the Board of The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey (Foundation) announced the Foundation's fourth and final round of grants for 2011, awarding $1,274,000 to 34 organizations. The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey supports charitable organizations that promote health and the arts throughout New Jersey. With this final round, the Foundation has awarded $3,207,500 in grants to 105 organizations in 2011.
Art House Productions received a grant of $10,000 to support its Arts Exhibits and Programs. The grant funds the cost of salaries for professional and administrative staff, marketing and promotion and the participation of students who exhibit artistic merit and financial need for the STAGES! program, a 12-week theatre academy and performance company for youths.
Christine Goodman, Executive Director of Art House Productions says, "we are honored to be recognized by The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey and are looking forward to building our Horizon Rising Stars scholarship program as part of the exciting new STAGES! performance company for youth launched last fall."
