Antonín Dvorák’s Stabat Mater Set for the Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove, 8/26

 NJ State Opera's  Artistic Director Jason Tramm, at the podium as  Music Director for the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association,  will conduct the Great Auditorium Choir and Orchestra in Antonín Dvo?ák's Stabat Mater this Sunday August 26th at the Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove.

 

Dvo?ák's cantata, a work for soli, choir and orchestra, will feature Metropolitan Opera tenor Ronald Naldi, bass Jeremy Galyon, soprano Monica Ziglar, and mezzo-soprano Martha Bartz.

The renowned organist Gordon Turk, whose collaborations with Jason Tramm have been featured in broadcasts of the PBS program "Pipe Dreams" will perform on Great Auditorium's magnificent Hope Jones Organ.

Gordon Turk travels nationally and internationally for concert performances, and has played in Carnegie Hall, NYC, the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, and other landmark concert halls in the US. He has performed in the legendary Bolshoi Philharmonic in St. Petersburg, Russia, and other cities of Russia, and in international organ festivals of Switzerland and the Ukraine. He has made two concert tours in Japan, and recently returned from his second concert tour in the Ukraine, playing solo performances and also concertos with orchestra.
