Algonquin Arts Theatre to Present VIVA LA DIVA This Month

Viva La Diva!: The Music of Carole King, Barbra Streisand, Patsy Cline, Peggy Lee, Aretha Franklin (and many more), starring Broadway and recording artist Carter Calvert, will play the Algonquin Arts Theatre on October 15, 2016.

Broadway & recording artist Carter Calvert (Cats, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Forbidden Broadway and the Tony nominated It Ain't Nothin' But The Blues) floats effortlessly between Broadway, Pop, Jazz, Blues & Country. Her hilarious yet heartfelt take on "making it in the biz" and the Divas that inspired her along the way will delight audiences of all ages. Featuring the music of Aretha Franklin, Carole King, Barbra Streisand, Patti LuPone, Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt, ABBA, Whitney Houston, Bette Midler, Billie Holiday & more.
