A RAISIN IN THE SUN Tickets At Two River Theater Now On Sale

Tickets officially went on sale yesterday for Two River Theater's production of Lorraine Hansberry's classic American Drama, A Raisin In The Sun, playing the venue's Joan and Robert Rechnitz Theater from Saturday, Sept. 9th, 2017 to Sunday, October 8th, 2017.
The play is directed by Carl Cofield and will star Brandon Dirden (Broadway: Jitney, All The Way, Enron, Prelude to a Kiss) as Walter Younger and Crystal Dickinson (Broadway: Clybourne Park & You Can't Take It With You). as his wife, Ruth. Brandon's father (Willie Dirden) has also been a professional actor with an extensive career in the theatre and will play Bobo. This will all be a family affair of sorts as Brandon directed his wife at Two River Theatre last season in August Wilson's Seven Guitars, in which he made his directorial debut.
Brandon and his brother (Jason Dirden) also appeared previously at Two River Theater together in Pulitzer Prize-winner Suzan Lori-Parks' play, Topdog/Underdog and Brandon himself appeared in the recent revival of the August Wilson's Jitney that won this year's 2017 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play and Best Direction of a Play (for Ruben Santiago-Hudson), which initially began development at Two River Theater.
