Veterans in Performing Arts (VIPA) Presents SMALL ENGINE REPAIR at The Players' Ring April 13 - 29 Veterans In Performing Arts (VIPA) is proud to present the New England premiere of Small Engine Repair by John Pollono at the Players' Ring Theater located at 105 Marcy St. Portsmouth, NH. Showtimes are 8 pm on Fridays & Saturdays and 3 pm matinees on Sundays. Tickets are $18.00 for General Admission with discounts for students, seniors, veterans and Players' Ring members.

In Small Engine Repair, three old friends from Manchester, NH reunite for the first time since a falling-out, lured to a reconciliation through tall tales told by one of the three. In a small garage run by one of the men, it is discovered that they were brought together for a specific purpose, one that may end up costing all of them more than they bargained for. A long-simmering resentment and a surprise guest ignite a dangerous flame in this tight comedy with a core of real danger. Playwright John Pollono is a NH native and attended UNH. This production will be the first to take place on a New England stage.

Jonathan Rockwood Hoar directs Pollono's play with assistance from Donald F Tirabossi and technical assistance from Brendon Lavin. Scott Degan portrays the role of Frank, Jason Pulley will play Packie, Sven Wiberg is Chad and Jonathan Day will be making his stage debut as Swaino.
